The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the availability of a new service that allows drivers to avoid carrying their driving licenses by storing them in the RTA's smartphone app.

Added a driver's license to the "Apple Wallet":

The authority confirmed that the driver's license can be added to the " Apple Wallet" through simple steps in the RTA application in Dubai and that the driver can enjoy driving the vehicle without the need to carry the actual driver's license, adding that this eliminates any worries for the driver if they forget to carry the actual license.

The authority attracted the attention of service recipients to the necessity to update the Roads and Transport Authority application to enjoy the service, saying that the application may be downloaded at https://bit.ly/3Ie9vHR.

The authority also announced a few days ago the addition of new delivery services for customers, including the delivery of driver's licenses and vehicle ownership within two hours of receipt of confirmation of the transaction procedures within the city of Dubai only, in addition to same-day delivery in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, and the addition of a new service to deliver international shipments to customers outside the UAE.
According to the authority's statistics, the total number of requests for transaction delivery during the first quarter of this year was 134 thousand and 640 transactions, with approximately 107 thousand and 54 vehicle ownership renewal transactions, 25 thousand and 500 transactions for renewing drivers 's licenses, and 939 transactions for replacing damaged and lost driver's licenses delivered.

According to the statistics, 732 Special Transactions were associated with the service of granting an overseas driver's license, and 415 transactions were associated with the service of damage or loss of car registration.
