Free parking will be available to all motorists throughout the Eid Al Fitr 2023 long weekend in Dubai

In addition to other service adjustments, the Dubai RTA has announced that parking would be free for the whole duration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

The transportation authority announced that parking will be free beginning on Thursday, April 20, and continuing through either Sunday or Monday, depending on the visibility of the moon. Parking in multi-level parking facilities, on the other hand, will cost money and will not be free.

Workers in both the public and private sectors will be given the day off on Thursday, April 20, to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

Abu Dhabi announces EID Al Fitr 2023 free parking

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that the break will begin on the 29th of Ramadan, which is comparable to April 20th, and continue until the 3rd of Shawwal.

If Ramadan is 29 days long, the third day of Shawwal will occur on Sunday, April 23, whereas if Ramadan is 30 days long, it will occur on Monday, April 24.

The Metro Red and Green Line stations that are operated by the RTA will be open from 5 am to 1 am (the following day) from Thursday through Saturday, and from 8 am to 1 am (the following day) on Sunday.

The hours of operation for the Dubai Tram will be as follows: Thursday through Saturday, from 6 am to 1 am (the following day); Sunday, from 9 am to 1 am.

The public buses in Dubai will operate from six in the morning until one in the morning, and the opening and closing times of the metro feeder bus stops will be synced with the first and last metro journeys.

Each and every inter-city bus route will operate in accordance with the typical schedule.
