The UAE announces fine prices for delaying residency renewal

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, which is in charge of such matters, has informed its applicants of the renewal fee as well as any additional conditions for gaining residency in the UAE.   • Each additional day results in a fine of 25 dirhams.
  • If you go over your allotted time by more than six months, you'll have to pay 50 dirhams per day.
  • If you go over a year, you can still spend up to 100 dirhams a day.

Conditions for renewing a residence visa in the UAE

In order for residents to take care of their family or find gainful employment, they must meet the following requirements for a visa renewal:

  1. He has a legal permanent resident sponsor.
  2. Having successfully completed the adult medical examination.
  3. In order to enter either Abu Dhabi or Dubai, a valid health insurance card is required.
  4. Visit the Federal Director for Citizenship and Identity to update your personal information.
  5. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Permanent Residency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) accepts applications via their website or at approved printing facilities.
  6. The sponsor's actual passport, complete with his picture.

Long-term residency options in the UAE
