The Saudi Royal Court announces the start date of the holy month of Ramadan 1445 AH

The Saudi Royal Court and the committee for investigating the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced, a short while ago, that the sighting of the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan has been confirmed, so that it will be tomorrow, corresponding to Monday, March 11, the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Royal Court issued today, “The Crescent Chamber of the Supreme Court held a session this evening, Sunday, to consider what it received regarding the sighting of the crescent of the month of Ramadan for this year, and after reviewing, considering and contemplating all that was received, and because a number of witnesses witnessed the sighting of the crescent of the month of Ramadan.”Blessed is this night, and accordingly, and when it is proven that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Fast when you see it and break your fast when you see it,” agreed upon, the department decides that tomorrow, Monday, corresponding to March 11, 2024 AD, is the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan. For this year 1445 AH.

The statement added: “The Supreme Court, as it congratulates the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Crown Prince, all citizens and residents, and all Muslims on this holy month, asks God Almighty to help Muslims in fasting and praying, and to accept good deeds from them, and to reconcile themselves, and to support His religion and elevate it.” His word, and preserve this country’s security, stability and prosperity. Indeed, Glory be to Him, He is the Hearer, the Nearest, the Answerer, and may God’s blessings and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions.”
