In addition to the existing types of public parking contributions that range from 10 days to 12 months, the Sharjah City Municipality has introduced a new type that allows individuals to obtain a one-month subscription for two regions. This type also includes commercial and personal contributions for two specific regions or for all of Sharjah.
Within this framework, Hamid Al-Qaid, Director of the General Parking Department, emphasized that the introduction of this subscription type is in keeping with the municipality's endeavors to offer its services in an easy and convenient manner, with the goal of reducing the time and effort required by customers. It is also a response to the desire of many customers to obtain this type of subscription. The user has the option to renew it monthly for two selected regions.
He elaborated that seasonal contributions are one way to pay Sharjah's parking fees, and that the city's administration is happy to help customers with this. Customers can subscribe to all areas for 10, 20, or 30 days, or for three, six, or twelve months, and there are 70,000 parking spaces available to them.
According to the director of the general parking department, the city offers special discounts to certain groups, including those who are retired, elderly, or live in fee areas, as well as university students, government employees, community development department beneficiaries, and holders of certain types of identification documents. The "Hama Al -Watan" and "Frain" cards, which show that only service centers can process applications for outstanding contributions.
