His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the Emirate of Dubai, ordered the release of 691 inmates from reformist and punitive institutions in Dubai of different nationalities during Ramadan.

The Attorney General of Dubai, Counselor Issam Issa Al-Humaidan, stated that the amnesty is part of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's efforts to allow pardoned individuals to reunite with their families during this auspicious occasion, emphasizing values of mercy, charity, and tolerance. The amnesty also provides them with the chance to seek redemption, reintegrate into society, and bring happiness to their loved ones during this sacred month.
The Public Prosecution in Dubai initiated collaboration with Dubai Police and relevant authorities to promptly execute the amnesty decree.
Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi
His Majesty Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah, has granted amnesty to 484 inmates who have completed their sentences at the penal and correctional institution in Sharjah. The amnesty is based on their good conduct and behavior, and it coincides with the occasion of Ramadan.
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi
His Majesty Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, granted amnesty to 314 inmates in the correctional and punitive facilities of the General Command of Ajman Police during Ramadan. The inmates demonstrated good conduct and behavior during their sentence, meeting the criteria for amnesty and being released from the remainder of their punishment.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi
His Majesty Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah, instructed the release of 368 detainees from the Correctional and Punitive Foundation in Ras Al Khaimah. These inmates had received different court orders against them in the emirate and the release was done in honor of Ramadan.
The Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah ensured the fulfillment of all financial obligations resulting from the release as per these regulations.
