The airline has made a significant announcement regarding the allowance of luggage on flights between the United Arab Emirates and India

Now, travelers flying on Air India Express will have the opportunity to save money on their trip tickets by traveling with less belongings.

A new pricing family has been introduced by the low-cost airline Air India Express. This fare family provides passengers with the option to have their baggage limit extended to up to 40 kilograms, or they can choose to have no check-in luggage altogether.

The airline announces an important decision regarding baggage

The following are the new pricing categories that are applicable to flights to and from the United Arab Emirates as well as other foreign destinations:

  • Xpress Lite
  • Xpress Value
  • Xpress Flex
  • Xpress Biz

There are rates available for Xpress Lite that solely include cabin baggage, which would be the most cost-effective option for travelers who are traveling with the airline.

While Xpress Flex allows for limitless modifications without charging any additional costs, Xpress Value allows passengers to check in bags weighing up to 15 kilograms. The Xpress Biz service provides passengers with seats in business class, complementary meals, and priority services.

The airline, which is a subsidiary of Air India and a member of the Tata Group, launched Xpress Lite on February 20 exclusively for customers from the United Arab Emirates who wish to fly without checking in their baggage.

There are Xpress Biz tickets available on all of the new Boeing 737-8 aircraft that Air India Express has taken delivery of. When buying Xpress Biz prices, passengers have the opportunity to take advantage of higher luggage allowances which are 25 kilograms for domestic flights and 40 kilograms for international flights. You will receive priority check-in, luggage, and boarding services when you purchase this price.

Across more than seventy routes in India, Air India Express already operates aircraft that are equipped with business class seating.

In a recent interview with Times, Aloke Singh, the managing director of Air India Express, stated that the airline was trying to enhance capacity to the Gulf area, which includes the United Arab Emirates, as well as give greater connection to passengers traveling in the Gulf region.
