The UAE has officially declared the end of the recent heavy rainfall that wreaked havoc across the country.

Through collaborative efforts involving the Ministry of Interior, the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority, the National Centre of Meteorology, and strategic partners, the fluctuations in weather patterns have come to an end, with precipitation ceasing and weather conditions gradually stabilizing.

Acknowledging the proactive measures taken by field teams to mitigate risks, the Ministry of Interior commended their ongoing efforts towards full recovery. The Supreme Committee for Internal Security remained vigilant throughout the weather events, ensuring swift responses and uninterrupted business operations.

Emergency response teams, including civil defense, ambulance, rescue, and police patrols, remain active in securing roads and areas prone to flash floods, valleys, and dam exits. Their focus lies on managing traffic and draining excess rainwater until normalcy is restored across all civil facilities.

The Ministry extended its profound gratitude to the various authorities involved in managing the weather disruptions, lauding their proactive and professional response that safeguarded lives, properties, and societal stability. It highlighted the positive impact of social responsibility demonstrated by the UAE public, which entrusted government entities to handle emergency situations while staying informed through official channels.

Emphasizing the importance of adhering to official instructions, individuals are urged to avoid stream valleys and areas prone to water accumulation. As Dubai embarks on its recovery journey from the recent heavy rainfall, schools and government offices will transition to remote work and learning arrangements for the remainder of the week.
