The Roads & Transport Authority in the UAE (RTA) announced the partial closure of a number of roads in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Police announced, through its account on the Twitter social networking platform (currently the X platform), that Al Hosn Street will be closed starting today.

Partial closure of Al Hosn Street until Monday

The Integrated Transport Center in the Emirates Dalwa said that the partial closure on Al Hosn Street in Abu Dhabi will be in effect from 10:00 pm on Friday, until 5:00 am on Monday, October 30.

The Transport Center published a picture showing the areas affected by this closure, as the roads shown in red will be affected, while the paths in green will operate as usual.

Drive carefully and adhere to traffic rules

Abu Dhabi Police explained that drivers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi must adhere to the instructions of the police and drive with caution, while adhering to traffic rules and regulations to avoid congestion and congestion.

Modifying the times of preventing entry of trucks

It is worth noting that the Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police announced at the beginning of this month that it would prevent trucks, heavy vehicles, and buses transporting workers from entering Abu Dhabi Island.

The ban also includes Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, Musaffah Bridge, and Al Maqta Bridge, coinciding with the launch of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2023).

Intelligent systems to provide traffic flow

It is also noteworthy that Abu Dhabi has deployed many traffic patrols on all roads and intensified traffic control, through smart systems, with the aim of providing traffic flow.

Finally, Abu Dhabi Police called for the driver’s commitment and cooperation in enhancing efforts to provide traffic safety by adhering to traffic laws.
