As a result of the torrential rains that occurred in the Emirate of Dubai on April 16, 2024, Emaar Company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, made an announcement about the restoration of properties that had suffered major damage.

Heavy rains and strong winds caused a lot of damage, in addition to the cancellation of flights in Dubai, and it was also decided to close schools in the United Arab Emirates.

Emaar Company in the UAE explained that it will cover all costs of home repairs within its communities that were damaged by the recent rains in Dubai.

Many Shekani neighborhoods were exposed to severe damage throughout the emirate, and the company announced that it had already assessed the damage within their communities in the wake of the record rains that the UAE witnessed on April 16.

In a related context, Emaar Company explained in its statement that the problems ranged from water saturation in the areas, in addition to damage to property due to rainwater.

The founder of Emaar, Mohammed Al-Ghobar, explained that the company will address such problems without the residents bearing any additional cost.

Communities such as Downtown Dubai, Dubai Hills Estate, The Springs, Arabian Ranches, and others are included within Emaar Properties' portfolio of properties.

Major developers from all around Dubai have taken on the responsibility of cleaning flooded areas since Tuesday's downpour. This comes after the United Arab Emirates had its worst rainfall in seventy-five years.

There were also cancellations and delays of flights as a result of the storm's impacts, and Dubai airports also curtailed flying operations around the city.

Some people are curious about the extent to which insurance might reimburse individuals who have been impacted by the historic rains that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recently experienced. It is notable that a great number of automobiles, buildings, and stores have been destroyed as a consequence of these storms.

According to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, the concerned authorities have been instructed to work quickly to study the state of the infrastructure in various regions of the country and to limit the damage caused by the record heavy rains that the country experienced. These rains are the highest this country has experienced since the beginning of recording climate data in 1949.

As a result of the severe rains, the sewage systems in the nation collapsed, which resulted in the submersion of large neighborhoods and commercial districts, as well as portions of the Sheikh Zayed Highway, which is a 12-lane highway that travels through Dubai.
