The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has designated nine centers for obtaining replacements for lost vehicle plates, following the recent weather depression. Requests for plate replacements can be made through the RTA's website, with collection from the designated centers.

The RTA in Dubai emphasizes the importance of swift reporting of lost vehicle plates to ensure the smooth operation of the replacement process and prevent any potential violations. For citizens, residents, and GCC nationals, the required documents include the original Emirati ID and a police report in case of plate loss. Commercial entities must present the original Emirates ID, a police report, and a company letter. Additionally, specific requirements apply to commercial vehicles in free zones, government and semi-government vehicles, and diplomatic vehicles.

The nine centers for plate collection include Shamil Center Al Qusais, Kars Al Mamzar Center, Al Mumayaz Center—Al Mizhar Markets, Tajdid Centre, Tamam Al Kindi Centre, Al Integra Center—Al Awir, Al Integra Center Al Quoz, Al Mumayaz Center Al Barsha Mall, and the Al Mumayaz Center at Wasil Jaddaf.

Immediate reporting of lost plates is emphasized by the RTA to ensure convenience for vehicle owners and to prevent violations. Citizens, residents, and GCC nationals are required to present their original Emirati ID and a police report for lost plates. Commercial companies need to provide the original Emirates ID, a police report, and a company letter. Additional requirements apply for commercial company vehicles in free zones, local and federal government vehicles, semi-government agencies, and diplomatic bodies.

Regarding the Dubai Metro Red Line, the RTA urges passengers to plan their trips ahead and follow instructions from staff to avoid delays. Service operates in both directions from Centrepoint to Expo 2020 and from Jebel Ali to UAE Exchange stations, with certain stations like On Pacific, Equity, Mashreq, and Energy remaining closed.

The reopening of Al-Midan Street and the tunnel at the Beirut Street intersection with Al-Nahda Street in both directions is part of the RTA's efforts to restore traffic flow after recent disruptions.
