The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is in accordance with the distinguished bilateral relations that exist between the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the government of the United Arab Emirates. This is also in furtherance of the success that was enjoyed by the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed between the two countries on February 12, 2018, and which has been extended multiple times, most recently on March 28, 2022. The date of expiration is February 28th, 2024.
