The conclusion of the depression that impacted multiple regions of the country was declared by the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, the National Center of Meteorology, and strategic partners. This announcement was made subsequent to the cessation of rainfall and the gradual amelioration of weather conditions.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the field work teams have implemented preventive measures. Additionally, the Supreme Committee for Internal Security has maintained a continuous session during the weather conditions to ensure prompt response and uninterrupted business operations. These teams will persist in their efforts until the recovery phase is concluded. Furthermore, the civil defense, ambulance, rescue, and patrol teams will continue their operations. The primary responsibility of the police force is to ensure the safety and security of roadways, water flow areas, valleys, and dam exits. This includes managing traffic and facilitating the removal of stored water, ultimately resulting in the full restoration of normalcy in all civic infrastructure.
The Ministry expressed gratitude for the efforts made by the relevant authorities in managing the situation during the depression. It acknowledged their contribution in mitigating the consequences of the atypical weather conditions. This was achieved through a comprehensive and professional response, which played a significant role in safeguarding lives and property, as well as promoting societal stability and safety.
The Ministry also acknowledged the commendable impact of social responsibility, as evidenced by the public's awareness and active participation during the depression period. This was evident through their trust in state agencies to effectively address emergency weather situations and their diligent monitoring of developments through official state channels. The Ministry emphasized the significance of adhering to guidelines and instructions issued by official authorities, as well as refraining from visiting areas with valleys and water pools.
