Police in Lethbridge have taken action against an individual who was caught on camera firing weapons from his vehicle.
The incident, reported on February 27, prompted the Strathmore RCMP to investigate a man who was filming a drive-by shooting using handguns and long guns. Following the initial reports, the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit assumed control of the investigation.
Through their efforts, the authorities were able to identify the individual involved as Nicholas Bastaratch, a 20-year-old resident of Lethbridge. On March 8, a search warrant was executed at a residence located in the 100 block of 5th Street in Lethbridge.
