His Majesty The President of the State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressed that the UAE government places utmost importance on ensuring the safety and security of its citizens and communities. The monarch conveyed his gratitude for the collective consciousness and accountability exhibited by all individuals under the climatic circumstances experienced by the nation.

His Highness instructed the relevant authorities to promptly conduct an assessment of the infrastructure condition in different regions of the country and ascertain the extent of the damage caused by the unprecedented torrential rainfall, which is the heaviest recorded since the inception of climate data collection in 1949.

The President, in addition, issued a directive to furnish the requisite assistance to all households impacted by the consequences of the rainfall in diverse areas of the nation. His Majesty issued a directive for the relocation of the impacted households to secure areas in collaboration with local authorities.

The monarch expressed gratitude for the diligent work of both national and local emergency and crisis teams, as well as the competent authorities, in effectively overseeing rescue and evacuation operations amidst the adverse weather conditions, including rains, floods, and challenging climatic conditions, experienced by the nation. These efforts significantly contributed to the preservation of lives and property.

His Highness commended the exceptional unity demonstrated by the UAE community amidst the weather conditions, which exemplifies the deeply ingrained principles of the nation's society.
