The UAE announces new 5-year multiple entry tourist visa for Indians

The visas offered by the United Arab Emirates (uae) to Indian citizens are divided into 4 categories: business visa, package visa, tourist visa, in addition to the work visa. Recently, Dubai announced a new multiple-entry tourist visa for 5 years to promote travel from India.

The visa is issued within working days

This new visa, which is issued within a period ranging from two to five working days from the receipt and acceptance of the service request.

A tourist visa allows you to stay for one day a year

The visa allows its holder to stay in the UAE for 90 days at a time, and travelers under this visa category have the flexibility to visit the UAE several times over a period of 5 years, with a maximum stay in the UAE for up to 180 days per year.

According to statistics recently announced by the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, Dubai received about 2.46 million visitors from India last year.

Perform multiple entry and exit operations

This visa allows multiple entries and exits for Indian citizens, providing operational flexibility for both business engagements and leisure travel.

Through this step, the UAE aims to strengthen relations between Dubai and India, in addition to providing a smooth travel experience for Indian visitors, as the two countries have long-standing relations over the past years.

Strengthening Dubai's position as a business and investment centre

It is noteworthy that the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai expects this step to contribute to strengthening Dubai’s position as a business and investment center.

Dubai visa requirements for Indians

1. A passport valid for six months at the time of application.

2- A passport-sized picture.

3- Valid medical insurance in the UAE.

4- A bank statement from the previous six months with a minimum balance of $4,000

5- You must also supply a local address in the UAE, as well as a landline and mobile phone number.

6- A copy of your round-trip airplane ticket and evidence of residency.

7- You may also send an invitation letter to friends and family in the UAE.

8- Alternatively, send a hotel reservation confirmation or rental contract.

Application Process For uae entry tourist visa

Indian citizens wishing to obtain a UAE tourist visa can currently obtain it, but certain criteria must be met, which include having a bank balance of 4,000 US dollars, in addition to valid health insurance for the UAE.

In addition to the necessity of having a round-trip ticket to the Emirates, proof of residence in the United Arab Emirates must be provided, which includes the address of the hotel or residence.
