Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, the Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police and leader of the local emergency, crisis, and disaster team, has confirmed the complete restoration of normal life in the Emirate of Fujairah within just 48 hours following the conclusion of adverse weather conditions.

Al Kaabi emphasized the swift response efforts undertaken to reopen all roads and restore traffic flow on both internal and external routes, including tunnel entrances, which had been affected by the recent "Roaring" air depression.

Acknowledging the collaborative efforts of various government agencies, Major General Al Kaabi praised the effective coordination of the local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Team. Together, they successfully addressed the challenges posed by water accumulation in main streets, internal squares, and several neighborhoods across the emirate. This coordinated response ensured the rapid drainage of flooded areas and facilitated the resumption of normal activities.

Furthermore, Major General Al Kaabi highlighted the provision of essential support services to affected families, including temporary accommodation in the emirate's hotels. These measures aimed to alleviate the impact of the adverse weather conditions on the local population and ensure their well-being during the recovery phase.

In expressing his gratitude, Major General Al Kaabi extended sincere appreciation to all field teams and collaborative partners who contributed to the restoration of normalcy. Their dedication and concerted efforts played a crucial role in mitigating the effects of the rainfall and addressing the resulting damages across the emirate.

Major General Al Kaabi's account underscores the importance of proactive engagement and effective coordination in managing crises. Through their collective actions, the local authorities and emergency response teams demonstrated their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the community, ultimately facilitating a swift recovery and return to normalcy in Fujairah.
