After being temporarily grounded due to extreme weather in the United Arab Emirates and the surrounding regions, Air Arabia has resumed regular flights from Sharjah International Airport as of 4 am today, April 18.

Air Arabia has resumed its operations at Sharjah International Airport as of 4 a.m. on April 18, following a disruption caused by severe weather conditions in the UAE and the surrounding region. The airline has promptly addressed the situation by providing an official update regarding flights that were cancelled on April 16 and 17.

In a statement released on its official X account, Air Arabia has outlined its policy for compensating affected passengers. Those who had their bookings cancelled will receive a comprehensive credit voucher equivalent to the amount they had paid for their tickets. This voucher can be utilized for future flight bookings with the airline. Additionally, passengers also have the option to request a full refund in cash.

To facilitate the process for passengers who made their bookings through travel agents, Air Arabia has requested that they directly engage with their respective agents for rebooking options or refund requests.

This proactive approach by Air Arabia underscores its commitment to minimizing inconvenience for passengers in the face of unforeseen circumstances like severe weather conditions. By providing flexible solutions such as credit vouchers and cash refunds, the airline aims to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain its high standards of service.

Air Arabia’s announcement reaffirms its dedication to passenger well-being and transparent communication during challenging situations. The issuance of credit vouchers and cash refunds demonstrates the airline’s responsiveness to customer needs and strengthens its reputation as a dependable and customer-focused carrier.
