UAE rain: An important warning from the UAE Ministry of Interior to all residents due to the weather condition

The Ministry of Interior issued multilingual warning messages to mobile devices, urging individuals to steer clear of valleys, water pools, and rushing floods. Additionally, they advised exercising caution when operating cars, reducing speed, and complying with directions from the relevant authorities.

The message was transmitted in multiple languages to mobile devices, accompanied by an alert sound to capture the recipient's attention.

The Ministry of Interior has disseminated video clips on social media platforms in multiple languages, as well as in sign language, to emphasize the significance of exercising caution amidst the current rainy weather conditions prevailing throughout the country.

Conversely, the Sharjah Police General Command issued a warning regarding the need to exercise caution when driving due to the current weather conditions in the country. These conditions include rain, varying levels of wind, thunderstorms, lightning, occasional hail, and reduced visibility.

Sharjah Police emphasized the importance of exercising caution and reducing speeds while driving on the roads, avoiding areas prone to flooding and standing water, and refraining from visiting the sea and beaches during inclement weather, in order to guarantee the security and safety of all individuals.

Sharjah Police issued a warning against congregating near areas prone to valleys and floods. They emphasized that Ministerial Resolution No. 178 of 2017 has outlined penalties for gathering near such locations. This measure aims to prioritize public safety and underscore the significance of adhering to the instructions and requirements of relevant authorities.

According to Sharjah Police, Article 115 of the decision imposes a penalty of 1,000 dirhams and 6 traffic points for gathering near valleys, torrents, and dams during rainy weather. Additionally, Article 116 stipulates a penalty of 2,000 dirhams, 23 traffic points, and confinement for entering flowing valleys, regardless of their level of danger. Vehicle for a duration of 60 days.

Article 117 specifies the punishment for impeding the authorities responsible for managing traffic, ambulances, and rescue operations during emergencies, disasters, crises, rainfall, and valley flow. The penalty includes a fine of 1,000 dirhams, 4 traffic points, and a 60-day vehicle impoundment.
