The National Centre for Meteorology has made the following forecast for the weather in the coming days, beginning on Wednesday and continuing through the following Sunday:

Wednesday temperature forecast

The weather will be gloomy and partly cloudy at various points throughout the day, and temperatures will drop.


Wind: Northwesterly, moderate to brisk, and occasionally strong at sea; causes dust and dust that may lead to a loss in the horizontal visibility; its speed ranges from 15 to 30 kilometres per hour and can reach up to 50 kilometres per hour.

Conditions on the sea can range from turbulent to very severe at times in the Arabian Gulf, while in the Sea of Oman, conditions might range from medium to harsh at times during the day.

Thursday temperature forecast

The weather will start out humid in the east in the morning, and then become dusty and partly cloudy throughout the day in both the east and the north.

Wind: Northwesterly, moderate to brisk, and strong at times at sea, exciting, and loaded with dust and dirt that may lead to a decrease in the horizontal visibility, and its speed ranges from 15 to 30, reaching up to 50 kilometres per hour.

The Arabian Gulf can have waves that are strong to very rough at times, while the Sea of Oman has waves that are mild.

Friday temperature forecast

Weather conditions are expected to be humid in the morning in the north and east, with the chance of fog or light mist formation; clear to partly overcast conditions are expected in the east, and dusty conditions are expected at various periods throughout the day.

Wind: easterly and southeasterly, easterly, light to moderate, northwesterly, moderate to brisk, especially at sea; causes dust and dust, especially westward during the day; speed ranges from 10 to 25 kilometres per hour and can reach up to 40 kilometres per hour.
The Arabian Gulf has waves that are harsh to medium in height, while the Sea of Oman has waves that are light in height.

The weather will be clear in general, with a chance of some cumulonimbus clouds in the east and the risk of rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will likely to gradually increase as the day progresses. Fog or light mist will be present in certain coastal and interior locations.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to the northeast, sometimes rather brisk, and producing dust during the day, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres per hour and reaching up to 35 kilometres per hour.

Sea: There were only a few little waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Sunday temperature forecast

The weather will be cloudy with fog or light mist in some coastal and interior locations, but otherwise it will be clear. There is a chance of some cumulus clouds in the east, and there is a risk that it will rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to climb.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to the northeast, sometimes rather brisk, and producing dust during the day, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres per hour and reaching up to 35 kilometres per hour.
Sea: There were only a few little waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
